Bring a Live Performance of Music and Reflection to Your Facility
A New Song USA offers structured live programs designed specifically for correctional environments. These performances combine spoken word and music to create moments of reflection, emotional honesty, and personal engagement.
This is not entertainment alone—it is a guided experience designed for incarcerated individuals to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way.

What the Program Includes
Each session is designed to be simple to host, powerful in impact, and appropriate for correctional settings.
Duration: Typically 45–60 minutes (adjustable based on facility needs)
Format: Live original music performance
Style: Reflective, narrative-driven, and message-focused
Audience: Incarcerated individuals in group settings
Setup Requirements: Minimal (can adapt to chapel, auditorium, or common area)
Equipment: Can be performed with or without facility sound system support
Flexible Program Options
Correctional facilities today are often working within real staffing and scheduling constraints. A New Song USA is designed with that in mind.
In addition to full live music performances, I also offer a simplified acoustic format that requires minimal setup and can be adapted to smaller group settings.
This option uses only an acoustic guitar—no amplification or equipment—and can be facilitated in spaces with limited movement, staffing, or logistical flexibility.
The goal is simple: to make it possible for meaningful programming to take place, even when conditions are not ideal.
What Participants Experience
Each program is designed to create space for:
Reflection on personal choices and life direction
Emotional connection through music and storytelling
Moments of calm, focus, and internal clarity
A sense of being seen and spoken to directly, not just spoken at
The goal is not performance alone—it is engagement and reflection that stays with participants after the session ends.
Why This Program Works in Correctional Settings
Correctional environments require programming that is:
Respectful of institutional structure
Emotionally safe and appropriate
Easy to schedule and implement
Meaningful without requiring prior preparation from participants
This program is designed with those realities in mind.
It meets participants where they are—without judgment, and with clarity.
